Planning on moving to NC in the near future but it's a huge task!
The logistics of all this has my head spinning.
We have to find jobs there beforehand, plan on a place to live, move our necessities and leave what's not worth bringing behind and buy it again there.
The cost of U-Haul or other vehicles is expensive for a move of 3,400 miles and companies like Mayflower and other moving companies is far too expensive.
This is quite an undertaking to do so hopefully it will all work out.Mephisto likes this.My son is a Drill Instructor in the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC

Good Luck if you look on line civil service jobs are list sorry I don't know the web site you may find something on the Base?
