I'm almost glad the only TV I watch these days is the Disney Channel.

It's my understanding that this show was picked up for a second season. Does anyone know if Ryan is supposed to finally catch Joe and topple the cult, or is this the basis of the show period, Ryan chasing Joe for eternity? I've invested in this show since the beginning and will follow it to the end for 3 more episodes, but if Joe isn't killed or put back on death row, I'm done with it. The ineptitude of the FBI is grating on my nerves.

I am sure this is a phenomenon known to many, but I have this thing I call "the Lost effect".

About 3 episodes into Lost I realised there would never be a (decent) resolution to that show. They would keep stringing it along, drawing it out, sending us of on story tangents, for as long as they could and until the money stopped flowing in. Then, and only then, would they turn in some half-arsed, ill-thought out ending that simultaneously beggared belief and insulted it's loyal audience, and then quietly limp away never to be heard from again.

So I stopped watching it after the 3rd episode, and I think I was proved correct from what I have heard.

Since that time I have seen many many shows that exhibit the "Lost effect". Sounds like this is one of them.

Channel 4 (NBC) has just started a show called "Hannibal" now this is a good show so far,and for those who pick up on details, they even show the agents using the correct guns, a .45,or maybe a 10mm. also they haven't insulted my intelligence yet
