When you have to have surgery on your back (complete with a drain tube in your back) and incisions under both of your arms and the first thing you think of is, how am I going to shave after the surgery. True story for me! I bought a DE because I couldn't move my arms very much. My SRP razor is in the mail so my first shave with a straight after my surgery will be with my SRP razor!

When you have to have surgery on your back complete with a drain tube and you also will have incisions under each arm and the first thing you think of is, "How am I going to Shave?" True story for me. I ordered a DE razor before my surgery because it would be easier to manipulate. My SRP razor just shipped so now that my stitches are out my first Straight Razor shave after my surgery will be with my SRP razor!

    My arms lol

Or after using a new shaving cream or soap you stride up to SHMBO and say "smell my face...what do you think?"

Or you start a wet shaving blog on tumblr because of you can't find any dedicated shaving blogs to follow on tumblr

When you realise that this is about the 10th "You know you are addicted to straight razors when..." threads you've posted in over the years.

You know you're addicted to straight razors when...

... you're simultaneously lapping a norton 4/8 with one hand while buying a new straight off ebay mobile with the other hand...

(What?!? I had to get the hone ready for my new addition... don't judge me!!! )

When you see a wood pallet at work that has some green on it and it reminds you of Chromium Oxide on a balsa strop.
