Now that our daughters are over 21, my ex-wife doesn't get child-support or help paying bills she couldn't afford to run-up in the first place! Now, she gets to do it on her own.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

For me it is the other way around.
I am one of those 'distracted engineer' types. I can remember the details of every program I ever wrote, but I can barely remember what I ate yesterday or when the water bill has to be paid.

My wife is very organized and takes care of all those things. God bless her.

Are you all living in my house?

Just kidding...but it is kind of funny to hear that I am not the only one who gets the "Were you paying attention to me?" lecture.

I too have asked my wife to get my attention before she starts talking about something important...but it never fails.

One of my favorite ones was a Sunday - let me preface it by saying I am a huge Chicago Bears fan and can finally be happy one year - anyway, we are watching the football game with a few other people. I am completely immersed in the game and she starts going on about the baby's christening and guest list!

Mind you, the baby is not born yet (due end of Feb).

With me starting out the razor stuff though, I think she thinks it is just a fad and I will outgrow it. Probably because I have just started the wet shaving and haven't even tried the razor I bought from Josh - still have to get a strop.

LOL. I've yet to meet a married man who hasn't gotten that comment. The simple truth is we're wired differently and the folks that make a happy marriage learn that eventually and take it into account. Until then, you'll have to humour her lack of understanding of your manly powers of concentration. :-P

Congratulations on the new baby. Soon you'll have a goal for that BBS shave. :-)

Thanks. Really looking forward to the baby coming.

True...I will have some comparison once I start trying.
