    Default Who? What?

    For those Dr Who fans.

Someone explain the last episode to me. Did that mean the current guy is washed up and there is a new replacement or maybe there's gonna be two Drs or maybe it's a future thing?
No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

My guess (Only Stephen Moffat can tell us for sure) is that the new Doctor will escape, leaving the current Dr. trapped. Clara who was born to save the Doctor, will somehow manage to reverse things and set it right. This is the first time we've seen a new Doctor without a regeneration takng place. (Even though we didn't actually see Christopher Eccletson regenerate, we know it happened). We'll just have to wait until November to find out. We're in uncharted waters, here.

I think he went as crazy as Karen and wants to move to LA. Clara is cute, but I'm still pissed that I don't have my favorite ginger companion to ogle anymore. No one is more furious about that turn of events than Arthur Darvill (Rory Pond).

Kidding aside, from everything I hear Matt Smith is still very happy being the Doctor, and should stay on for a few more series. He is the first Doctor to really get a taste of "Who Mania" in the states even more so than Tennant who caught the beginnings of the popularity.

For the moment, I still trust Moffat to keep the fans in mind and not get too crazy with the story lines (in relative terms, of course.)

Haven't watched it in years but Tom Baker (IIRC) was "The" doctor AFAIC.

If you like Tom Baker, I suspect you will also like David Tennant, who is my current favorite. Not to say Smith or Eccleston (someone help me spell his name please) aren't great, just I thought Tennant had the correct amount of crazy/violence/child.

Wouldn't it be great if the TARDIS landed in Whoville?

See if you can catch the most recent special, The Doctor's Revisited: The Fourth Doctor. It includes a full episode of one of Baker's early adventures. BBC America has been rebroadcasting them frequently.
