May 20th Moore Tornado
To all of the brothers and sisters on SRP, I want to put out my heart and prayers for all of the victims of the tornado. I was in the path of the storm.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."
Thomas Jefferson, Paris, November 13th 1787

I'm a little south of there now, 20 or so miles, but in the seventies, when I was on OCPD, our home was on S.W. 11th & Telephone Rd, just at the edge of the tornado, by yards!! The theaters and Hospital and all the other buildings were not there then and it was an open field and we would catch butterflies for my daughter's science project, in that field. My daughter started and attended school at the Plaza Towers school, 3 blocks west, where so many children have lost their lives. It's a sad and tragic day, but makes you realize, again, how precious and fleeting life is!!
Best Regards,

I was in downtown OKC when it happened so I wasn't personally effected. But there are several SRP members in the metro, so hopefully everyone made it through safely. Thoughts and prayers to the central OK community...

I have several friends who live in Moore. They're all safe, but some had family who lost their entire houses and everything else they owned. One friend had a niece and nephew who went to the elementary school that was destroyed, and they were missing until yesterday evening. All my friends have been extremely lucky, but my heart goes out to those who were not.
Just heard from my best friend, his cousin is still missing. When the Dude is recognized in the world, unDudeness will be seen everywhere--- the Dude de Ching
