    Default 8/8 Spine Razor

Gents, here is the latest one off the bench. It is 8/8, O1. A while back I made a bone razor and this one was a request inspired by a spine.

It is etched using Charlie's hot vinegar method, thanks Charlie.

I was concerned that it wouldn't strop well, however it is surprisingly easy to strop with.

    Thanks for looking.

This is the most beautiful and inspiring piece of art i have seen for a very long time. I am very impressed!
May i ask you how you made the spine look? Just with files?

    Kind regards,
    Ulrik

Thank you, yes mostly files. I used a Dremel for some of the rough shaping, but mostly files.....and heaps of sandpaper.

That is one scary beast. You did an absolutely incredible job on that.

That is a beautifully shaped razor, I love the tail/handle, the ridge running along the top of spine is the cats meow.
