Thanked: 13245MOP = Mother of Purple :)
For our very own Chevhead
Ed gave me the go ahead to use a new color of G10, this is Purple/Black I tied in the MOP look that Boker started with on the Covered tang with a MOP wedge for the scales.. The pins are NiAg with the small SS washers on the outside and Brass bearing washers on the inside...
The scales are a thin .095 with the wedge coming in at .055 at the end..
The steel was hand polished only to keep the Boker Tree frosted etching intact, took quite a few times through to get the finish where I wanted it...
Honing Chosera 1-5-10, Blue/Green Escher finish
Love these little 5/8 Hollow Notched razors from Boker, they shave like "Silk on a Stick"
Thanks for looking

The 1st photo really highlights how nicely the blade rests in the scales, awesome work.
And the purple/black does suit the covered MOP tang beautifully.~Paul

I really like it. The purple is a great colour, which compliments the MOP really well. Nicely done Glen.

Thanked: 11Nice, the MOP wedge looks great. I like the looks of the purple, just enough tint. Great work as always Glen! I just got that same anvil in the mail yesterday. I guess it was a good choice.
