    Cool The Rattler - USS Maine - Custom Restore

    This is heading home to a Retired Navy Chief from Maine

    The scales were built to spec using the New EverGreen Acrylic, and Faux Ivory for the wedge.. The 4 pin configuration was also to spec I added the fun "Bling" for the center post
    NiAg Pins and SS washer hold it all together, the bearing washers are brass..
    The scales were polished wet using the 3M cloth abrasives..

    Honing = Chosera 1-5-10, Blue/Green Escher finish

    I only took the polishing so far of course since the Etch was so important on this one, but I got a pretty good satin finish on it regardless
