Default The Linheraptor 6/8 straight razor

A small 6/8 O1 tool steel blade, oil hardened and double tempering to 175°c. Oak scale treated with lin oil.

Quarter hollow with 200 mm wheel, BP washer, rosewood wedge, and brass pins and washer. (i bite a bit with the grinder the washer to have a heel clean. What a shame.).

The Linheraptor is a dinosaurs, the blade remembered me the skull shape .
The shaving is soft, i honed it with jap 1000-3000, white arkansas, 6k chinese, 8-10 dragon tongue, 12-15k purple lynn, 15k+ grey slate, and leather.

Great looking blade design and the scales compliment it very well.
Love the idea of the hole as it creates a new focal point when looking at the blade.

That's a pretty impressive razor, well done! I'm most impressed that you shape, grind and hone your own blades. How does the thicker edge shave compared to a full hollow grind? Also do you do the heat treatments yourself? Would love to hear a bit more about what steps you go through to manufacture a blade that is capable of holding a shaving edge - if they aren't trade secretshttp://straightrazorpalace.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Envy, lust, I don't want to know where you live because I'll show up in the middle of the night and switch it with a Pakistani blade.

    Good job!
