Needed somthing to take my mind off things....
I don't know what it is but when I am cleaning up, restoring, or honing the rest of the world melts away.
The past several months my life has fallen apart, health wise, lost my home, and lost my family.
(One of the reasons I have not been posting much I cannot stay focused)
I would like to extend a thank you to all on SRP, you have helped by just doing what you do.
SRP has been an anchor point with all the turmoil, it is a great place with great people and has not changed.
But enough of that.
The latest project that I picked up mainly to occupy time.
5/8 near wedge, hones like Sheffield steel, wedge less horn scales (first for me), did a double stack washer, and lost a better part of a weekend.
Shave, well back to the hones. It was alright but I know it has more to offer.
Thanks for dropping byIt is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!

Great job bringing that old razor back on the line to serve.
Putting your life back in order is much like that razor you just finished,,,a conscious decision to start, piece by piece.
The Train of Life waits on no one, Pat, it's vanity to even think that it will slow down to let us board.
Reach out & grab hold,,,work your way toward the front of the train,,,find a comfortable seat that allows you to enjoy the rest of your life.

Thanked: 1184Nice restore. Keep your nose to the grind stone. You will work your way through it. The razor and everything else. I know you can get it where you want.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
