    Default 11/8s 1095 &15n20 & linen micarta

Here is a razor that I finished it is 25 layers of 1095 and 15n20. The scales are textured black linen micarta. The blade was forged to shape then ground. The tang and spine have been textured.

The blade makes me think of the Spinal Tap movie, to paraphrase Nigel Tufnel, this blade goes to 11.

Beautiful work with that steel Charlie it is simply breathtaking. The scales provide a comfortable platform for the steel.
There is nothing that is not to like about this straight.

Dare I say this pushes the envelope. I am liking the fewer layers more and more.
It gives me ideas. Raises questions. Makes me want.
It is cute in a King Kong sort of way.
