Thanked: 272Maximum Hollow Kamisori
Hello,
i would like to show you a kamisori style razor i made for a customer. Needs some more finish but the focus on this Razor was the maximum hollow ground i could do on the beltgrinder. The customer wanted to try the grind on a simple not so expensive Razor and order a more complex design if he likes it.
I am very happy how the grind did turn out, and wanted to share this.
cheers,
Ulrik

Nicely done on the belly. How is the flex in that blade? Impressively thin, I must say

Ulrik,
I've come back and looked at your images several times, and the thinness and symmetry of the blade fascinate me. Well Done!!

I think the idea of a kamisori is the shape and the harder material on the stamped side with the nonstamped side being iron. but other than that it's an awesome looking fixed blade razor I'd even buy a fixed blade razor if I had the extra money right now
Thank you,
Swerve
