That looks really good. You mentioned that you had to re-pin because the blade was hitting the scales - does that mean that it was the scales that were out as opposed to the blade? What did you do to get a better fit?

Thanked: 1184The scales were perfectly straight and the washer new. All the other Ducks I have done went together and centered perfectly. I think it was the tang because I measured everything with a straight edge and calipers and crystal ball. I sanded down the inside of the scales behind the washer to get it to center. It didn't take much. I failed the first time and it came out perfect the second time. So that makes 3 times I had to pin the pivot. I am going to buy some test screws now :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
