    Default C.V Heljestrand (Mk 32) - restauration

    I got this Heljestrand in France on a flea market .. my favorite shaver, scales in polished olive wood, wedge in ebony, oil finish and ss torx screws, honed w 1/3/8/12 k Naniwa SS. Thanks for looking .

    Nicely done. The shape of the scales matches the blade very well and the wood has some nice grain to it. Enjoy the shaves with it

    This sure was a lucky find, had to be in France , i never find these kind on my local flea market .

    .. olive wood is one of my favourite woods,.. I actually brought some pieces from the seaside this summer, it's still drying,. .and it took half of our car's space on our way back ... it's a pain to sand and cut very irritating dust (pretty bareable with inhalation protection )
