G. Johnson (Sheffield England)
G. Johnson, if I understand correctly, dating between 1810 and 1855 (due to the absence of "and Company" that later models, different manufactirers used). Had to straightend the tang *** (<-see below) , sleeve the pivot hole, made new scales from buffalo brown horn (2mm, turned out just fine despite my doubts throughout the process of making of ), wedge is camel bone and 2 brass layers, SS torx screws and ss/brass double bullseye washers .. I didn't make the before pics sorry, since the pics were made in the middle of the night (after actually) the quality is according as well, sorry, the pitting isn't that bad as it looks on the pics... thanks for watching...
***: I used a jar of cold water as a heat sink, where the blade was sunk, and only a part of the tang that was heated was out, water didn't get over 40oC (to my surprise)...

Very nicely done! I have two (2) G. Johnson's and they both are Great shavers. Funny thing is although I am always on the lookout for more Examples of this manufacturer, all I can ever seem to find are 5/8's razors. I would love to see some pics of larger blades made by them...or better yet to find some!

@Wolfpack34: I found this one on a flea market, bought it fairly cheap since it looked kind of bad to the seller... I often try to look for flea markets if I go somewhere, so her and there I do find something interesting, if not it's an interesting "walk"..
