Default Wade & Butcher the celebrated hollow ground in black horn

    Hi,
Here is a Wade & Butcher almost 7/8. I bought this one on Ebay a while ago, despite the ugly plastic scales - those could not be original so I simply replace these with something more proper for this beauty: black horn and white bone wedge. Brass washers and pins. Not honed yet. Please take a look.

Very distinguished looking razor. Good restore, I like it a lot.

Nice clean lines and I really like the wedge (I seem to have a thing for wedges....?). Hope my first looks that good. How thin did you take the scales?
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Beautiful old W&B. Thank God it's not for sale, I'm afraid I'd take the leap.

They are about 3 mm (just under 1/8 inch)
