Thanked: 284W.H. Compton "Reliance" In Blue Acrylic
Hello Gents. Just thought I'd share a weekend project with you all. This is a W. H. Compton 6/8 that was in very good shape but needed scales. Went with transparent blue acrylic, and bronze acrylic wedge (not that you can make out the color anyway - shoulda just put blue). There are some little scuff marks where I pinned and overall I still can't pin like I want.
Brass pins, washers and inside pivot washers. Just honed it and anxious to see how it shaves tomorrow.
Mainly wanted to post to say thanks to all that have posted their tips on SRP - just trying to soak it all in!
Shane

It's a great thing to see an old razor go back on the line to serve.
Thanks for sharing it.

If a razor can look pretty, its this one. Masculine with a touch of grace and class.
