Default Came across this Boker and this brush today

Vintage store in town had these! I might pay someone for the restoration on this one! Might be a bit much for my skills!
The brush base is ceramic and it says london underneath... Looks cool! Not using it! I dont know who used it in the past!

I'd be putting that brush to use, I would have one of the Pro's here replace the knot with badger, that's one nice handle.

That sound like a great idea...! Thanks! The handle is perfect! Some type of ceramic/porcelain material... After doing some digging around... I guess these were sold in sets with a mug! I guess thats what i will be looking for! Royal London is the brand btw

I'll keep my eye out at the antique malls for a Royal London mug for you.
I see lots of old shaving mugs at the antique malls, just never had an interest in them.

Yea put a new knott in the brush great handle. The Golden Nib.com sells everything you need. Do the work yourself you'll appreciate it that much more.

I just posted about a Boker I recently received and honed. I'm sold on the steel takes a nice edge and shaves great. Hope your as happy with yours as I am with mine.

That handle looks fragile , as in glass or ceramic , so if he's good , then O.K. replace it himself.
    But,,
I would send it out, to have that knot pulled by someone who has done it many times.
    Just my thoughts,,,

+1 to this. Send a PM to pixelfixed. Best let a pro do it, especially because it's fragile and irreplaceable if anything should happen.
