C.V. Heljestrand with motherpearl inlay
So here is my newest restoration, a blade I´ve had laying for a while but not quite had the time to do anything with. I got some time over and again i was at work using the various tools and machines there, much easier when everything is in one place. The mother of pearl is not cracked, it was cut outs in it before so i looked like a rose. But i thought that the light reflected so nice in them so i decided to keep it like that. The inside of the handle is covered with thin copper metal sheet. And the wedge is also made in copper. If there is anything else you want to know feel free to ask Only honing left to do on this one then it´s ready to shave.

Thanks Adam! Well I have one special blade left to make a handle for, but I want some stabilized kind of wood for that one since it will probably be a Christmas gift to my father.

Really nice work. How does it shave?
