Just another Wade and Butcher

Just finished tonight. A Wade and Butcher Celebrated For Barber's Use. Measures in at a full 9/8; the blade is original (condition is decent, but not as good as I like), but I made the scales, wedge and collars. This is the third of these darn things I've owned. I think I might actually keep this one.

I have an 8/8 I am trying to keep. They shave great and all but they don't say "for barbers use" on them for nothing. :<0) I am too used to the hollows I guess.

I'm going to rethink hone wear on W&B's after seeing that face view. they all look like they've been honed every day for 20 years, but there is a lot of meat on that bone still.

Thanks! That's what I was going for. I even rough sanded the area that contacts the wedge and left some marks exposed to try to match the real ones I've seen.

edit: now I just need to try the method of stamping the brass collars into the lead sheet
