    Looks way better w/o gold wash. Just a beautiful razor. Your photographs and composition are equally as good.

    Losing the gold wash didn't hurt the razors looks any, still a very fine looking razor.

    Yeah, the gold wash on these doesn't last much. I've had a bunch with goldwashed shanks and pretty much all had to be stripped of it. I'm not much into gaudy stuff though so I like them better without the gold wash anyways.
    You should've seen the issues in the photographs before you bought the razor, though.

    Yep, the rust is clear on the photos, but I guess you do have to have a little experience.
