    Default J&W Special in bone

    Restored this one keeping it as near to original as possible. Used the original bone scales. Cleaned up the blade trying to keep the etch intact while removing the pitting and returned the original type finish.

    That is a lovely piece of work! Good job on saving the etch and the scales look very smooth.

    did you treat the scales to make them look older or is that natural to that set. Some of the bone scales I see are very new looking.

    This is how these scales are. New
    ones I have done at times look like Ivory. But these have that nice aged patina.
