Just finished this one up for Jacob, and it is heading home, really liked these pieces of Honey Horn as they were almost clear of streaks... The pivot hole did need to be sleeved with a 1/8 tube...

Another one of your classics I like the spots in the horn and the rounding of the inside of the wedge.
Do you find it's hard to drill out the pivot hole before you can fit the tubing?I want a lather whip

Thanked: 13245
I am a firm believer in balancing razors to the Tang, just like they were balanced when they left the factory back then...
I have found that most Vintage razors will balance there so that's what I try and do also, it really isn't all that hard either just so long as you keep it in mind..

Thanked: 13245IME and IMHO there is no reason to drill out the hole, you actually want a slight amount of slop in there anyway, so I just fit the tubes together until I take up most of it...

The only real reason to sleeve is so that you can make the build with slightly tighter tolerances, so you just have to keep that in mind as you fit the wedge etc:Last edited by gssixgun; 11-22-2013 at 09:36 PM.
