    Default Ern for Ernest

A coworker named Ernest requested a straight. Found this old guy on eBay, was in decent shape. Knocked down some rust and rescaled with black poly pearl. Gonna hone it tomorrow.

    Lessons learned:
I drilled the holes 5/64 instead of 1/16 , using small washers with those size holes caused a bit of indentation at the pin holes.
Pinning at the tang first caused having to use alot of force at the wedge.

Like the black poly. It complements the Ern. Ern's are good shavers!!

very nice the black pearl is sweet.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Saw this first hand. Great restore. Loved the scale material.
