Thank you gentlemen! Yeah, something about these old ones just begs to be kept in their original clothes. To my eye using some new high tech product doesn't always work. Dressed in formal attire they always look good. Fitting somehow. Otherwise it's like trying to fit Mag Wheels on a Duesenberg. Ahhh,, maybe not a good idea.

What they said... and a special thanks for those brass pins (and that they're just a little bit higher-than-flush, rather than stacked) -- I like how they play off the dark-brown of the scales, and do a "gold-and-silver" thing with the wedge and blade. Clean and classic... with the depth and beauty that follow in Simplicity's wake.

Thanks, glad you caught that little detail. I almost went Nickel with SS washers but I thought it would be redundant and too much silver would just wash out the whole 'vibe' of the blade. I thought all silver in a line, ( blade, tang, wedge) with the brass on the depth of the scales.
