OK, black out, green is in. Looks cool so far. Let it set a bit and remove the excess.

Haha, you're a true perfectionist! You have a Gold SPIKE? I'd like to see it if you do! Mine has blade that's trashed!

Well as to THAT one... I COULD have one fairly soon with a third pin and some gold paint. Who'd know? But no, ( head hanging in shame ) I don't have that one. But I do have a few others like yours.
Then too I didn't say I had the exact same ones so that cuts me some slack.

Here they are from the phone. First time trying this as I use a camera all the time. The middle one is the restored one.

Nice save on that one. The spike I have turned out to be one of my best shavers.

I hope so. I'll hone up one of my pieces as comparison while I do this one for my friend.

Carver you pinning is just flawless sir.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Thanks guys, you at just too kind .
Well attention to detail? Good Gravy can these things shave! I took one of my other Spikes ,
did it up, also took a Union Cutlery Gold coin, a Blue Steel and a Friodur with me . This little piece darn near shaved the pants off the others! The one that gave it a run for its money, and they were neck and neck was the Blue Steel. The Spike just felt so solid, smooth only took a thumb and forefinger grip to do ATG on my upper lip. I was shocked! I'm so glad I have some back up stock on these. Want
A great shave? Get one of these!
