    Default Hamilton

At first glance I thought I had another Robeson. Once I broke it down and cleaned up some of the crud I found the Hamilton name on the face, and on the reverse Allentown Bar Supply,,,Germany.
Cool! I love blades from my native Pa. and especially when they're marked with the town of my birth, the neighboring city to where I now live. And Allentown Bar Supply is still there.
The blade only had minor issues with some rust. It was removed and I redid the factory style finish. Once the tang was cleaned up I redid the blackened finish there.
The scales naturally cloudy and dull came back to life as I knew they would. A minor chip on the end was removed with some gentle sanding and shaping .
I just love the color which I back lit a bit just to show it better in some shots.
