Thanked: 1184Thanks for the kind words guys.
Just a small nest Phrank. :<0)
Cuda ,I posted a how to thread called http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...es-reaper.html. It's just my style of doing it but I had hoped it would help others with restore projects. Even if you just get a tip here and there :<0)
Leatherstockings, Everybody needs at least 1 Duck to know what the the hub bub is all about.
Wolf , I used to use my hands a lot in my work. So much so I never needed to wear gloves. Now that I quit doing the type of work 12 hrs a day I forget I'm not that tough anymore. I still repair quick.
wenebojo, Just a lot of elbow grease.
ScoutHikerDad, I am off the hunt for now but always keep an eye out for a trophy. Good luck out there !
rmagnus, see now why Wolf and I chuckled when you told us you only needed a couple :<0)
JoeLowet, I have some of those Sheffields and can see why you collect them. I started consentrating on Ducks thinking it would control my Rad. After all there is only like 5 different ones right ?
Yeah Chev got another waiting in the wings :<0)Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Aw 10Pups, now why do you have to keep resurrecting those dead ducks? Okay you're a sorcerer with those things and can bring them back to life in better shape than when they were born originally - but now I have to go get some to fix up myself. Those people on the bay are nuts about DDs and now I have to wade into that crazy to retrieve a few more for my own stash.
Just when I thought I was about to break even on costs for this money saving hobby after many years...
Seriously that's more outstanding work! Can't wait until you finish your 7 day set - I want pictures!

Incredible work in getting the Duck to fly again.
Lovely scales and keeping the logo intact is exceptional attention to detail.

That's another great restore - how on earth did you manage to get rid of what looks to be still active rust, without leaving any pitting - especially on the pile side? The central area on the spine looked as though the rust would run pretty deep or did it look worse than it really was?
