    Default Jung 80 in Red

Christmas Eve and I'm working on razors till 11:00. Seems right that this one was finished in Red.
It came in without scales and was a bit rough around the edges. I cleaned up the blade, removed the nick on the edge, got it polished, and redid the bluing on the shaft.
The client asked for red scales so I made this acrylic to suit his needs and then built the scales.
I also made the acrylic for the wedge which is a compliment to the dark finish on the shaft. I think the near black at both ends balances and compliments the razor.
Brass pins and washers completes the piece.
Now as I wait up for Santa won't he be in for a surprise when I give him a shave with this one,

Very nice, sir. The black tang looks great against the red scales.

    Thanks guys.
Besides the scales, the blade looks pretty much I imagine as it did when it left the factory.

Great-looking Christmas razor, but you can't shave Santa! Anyway, he won't even come if you're awake.

Oh he came! And we came to an agreement . For me not to shave him , he agreed to send me a 15/16 Wacker Antik which should be arriving shortly in the mail as the ones he had with him were already on others lists. I can live with that. Seemed a fair trade off.
