G. Wostenholm 9/8
Hello to all,
I was hoping to finish it for Christmas but I didn't.
This time it is the turn of a G.Wostenholm, with generous dimensions: 9/8.
the work has been challenging enough, a uniform layer of rust
over the entire surface blackened by the passage of years. had no scales and
also an indentation of about 1 mm on the wire (0,80 for accuracy).
The scales had to be made of horn. without a doubt! and I chose a honey horn, to "sweeten"
the blade due to its size.
I've written enough, I leave the room for before and after photos
See you soon

Looks like a fun project. Going to have a hell-of-a nice chopper when you're finished.

That's a beaut! Nicely done
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
