Thanked: 61okay gents number 4 for the weekend... I got this thiers off another forum for a trade and it didn't come with original scales... I wanted the stereotypical thiers issard scales and I had a premade black plastic one from a year ago before I got into rescaling.. Well this blade didn't fit the premade well... SOOO i made my own...
I've had this faux ivory from masecraft for a long time... this rescaling taught me it is NOT good for rescales... it's too bendy and flexible... I guess it won't break if I drop it but i think it may shift on me and the blade may come off center... So i put a drop of super glue on the wedge so it doesn't move around...
ALSO working with white or off white material sucks! every dirt or grain from the sandpaper or buffers shows like crazy!
So here it is: thiers issard 69 in faux ivory and acrylester russet red wedge with NiAg hardware
