Default Wade & Butcher 8/8 in black horn

Well this came to me in I would say relatively nice shape. Although the etching was rather shallow and a previous owner had taken what looks like 80 grit to the blade. So to clean her up I took some Mothers and #0000 steel wool to her and put her on the hones. She is such a nice gentle shave for such a hefty girl. The spacer is made of silver and horn. also with NiAg pins and SS washer. I had to sleeve the pivot hole down to keep her from wobbling too much. Name: _DSC8328.jpg

Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Great looking blade. All my W&B's are fantastic shavers. I'll be restoring a blade like this soon.

thanks yall!!! with this one I had really learned how well K.I.S.S. really works. I really REALLY wanted to take out the scratches but I knew if I tried I would loose the etching. Now everything on this blade was hand done. I did not use a single power tool.
