Roxo - Marsh Bros of Ponds Works set in Jarrah
A couple weekends back, I came across this Roxo (Marsh Brothers of Ponds Works, Sheffield) looking in pretty sad shape, almost all markings on the tang illegible... Someone had also scratched the tang pretty badly, perhaps with a very coarse sandpaper looking to remove rust - either way, it was a poor effort. I actually think I passed on the razor a few months back and it was still sitting in the antique store this time around.
The bakelite scales were fine, completely salvageable, but I've had an odd piece of Jarrah sitting around awaiting attention. So here she is, still in need of a final polish and hone (but I couldn't wait for my new set of Naniwas to arrive). Scales are Australian Jarrah, with a wooden wedge, brass microfasteners. Thanks for looking.

Very nice work.
We've all done this... passed on a razor, seen the same razor dying a slow death in some dusty case on later visits and finally saved it.
Bravo for doing the right thing.

nice job. I did a roxo for a guy a few weeks back, it took to my naniwa very well. it was one of my favorite small blades so far
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
