I paid a little too much for this, but I had to have it, as The initials PJM have a connection for me. I did pay much less than these usually go for, but the blade is a bit overhoned, and the nickel diamond was coming off the scales. It was just under 5 hours start to finish, not yet honed.

And you're going to keep that a secret?

Turned out nicely, they are indeed very nice shavers IMHO

I drilled a hole in the side of my hammer head , which I use as an anvil. The hole is the same diameter as the washer being domed. The hole is barely 1/16 inch deep. I rounded the bottom of a drill bit which is just slightly smaller than the hole. Place washer in hole, face side down. Tap down with the drill bit. Remove by tapping into the washer hole with a 1/16inch punch.

Nice save. You will love the way it shaves. Lots of ways to dome. You did a really authentic job.

Sounds pretty logical on the doming. My stumbling block was the punch. The drill bit is perfect. Thanks
