For me it makes no difference what the brush knot is other than preferring horse and synthetic. I can see why people have a brush addiction. Its all in the handles. After looking at all the brush handles that abound, and with apologies to the other SRP brush makers, I do like yours, especially with a longer handle.

With the camphor being too soft, I wonder if you could glue in a patch end, say from 1/4 away from the pin on the belly side of the razor right to the end of the scale. Something to really spread the load of the pin. Could go exotic like metal (dark wood with shiny contrast) or as simple as plastic.
There would be the wood from the scale underneath, albeit thinned down of course.
I'm going to need a bigger bathroom
