    Default a little different

    Hi All,
had a customer contact me with a razor and a pair of hair clippers that she wanted restored to a display condition to go in her daughter's hairdressing salon.
Took a "before" pic, but when i disassembled the clippers so much old hair clippings fell out over my bench i was too busy grossed out and cleaning up to take pics before cleanup while disassembled. hence those pics are after clean up.
The clippers are marked "Burman and Sons Ltd, England."
I stripped the clippers down, cleaned them, and then used several grades of wet/dry paper to clean off the rust and corrosion. Polished up, used some food grade INOX grease in the mechanism and some INOX on the blades.
Hope to start the razor this weekend.
    Adam.

It's always nice to see old things and to think of how tools/stuff have changed over time. You got a nice shine to it, I bet she'll be happy.
