7/8 Damascus kamisori, rayskin handle
Hi everyone!
Here is my latest razor made from O1/15N20 216 layer damascus at 61HRC, and rayskin handle. The handle took much more time to make this nice than I thought, I hope next time I will be faster with it. I want to get some white rayskin and black cord for the sewing, with a gun blued blade... It should look really badass as I imagine
But let the pics speak, I hope you will like them. I will send this baby with some tears in my eyes to his new home in the US.
PS: No matter how hard I tried I couldn't upload the pics in sufficient size, you can view them on my homepage in full resolution.
Thanks for watching!

Thanked: 1263VERY Cool looking. That ray skin handle really sets the whole package off and compliments the damascus. Well done!

A thing of beauty! I feel it is only slightly diminished by the end of the ray closest to the blade. It looks like some kind of transition from rayskin to steel might eliminate the loose look, some kind of collar maybe. Anyway I have admired all of the work you have posted and I admire this and hope you don't think of it as a criticism.

That's killer. nice touch with the ray skin.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
