Thanked: 284I really like that you are playing around with the fine grain semi stainless metals.
Seems like knife makers are pushing the envelope there and it's nice to see it here. Sandvik and Crucible offer some really neat metals with fine grains like you are describing.
If it weren't for stain resistant properties we wouldn't be trying as hard as we do to get stainless to work as cutting tools, but it's neat when you can have both worlds!I love living in the past...
