    Default 7/8s 1095 & Canvas Micarta

Here is one I finished, it is a 1095 blade with a temper line. The blade is 7/8s from the hone line to the edge, about 8/8s total. The blade length is about 2.5". The scales are made from canvas micarta.

    Stunning! Just stunning!
Somehow your razors have their own distinctive character while maintaining the unmistakable Lewis style.

    Wow, great job!

Just this morning I finished watching your 1-hour video showing the making of a razor from start to finish; really impressive! I was wondering, do you forge your own Damascus steel?

    Cheers.

I have make a little bit of damascus steel, but I buy the majority of it. My shop is not set up to make pattern welded steel. I do not have the tools to make pattern welded steel in an efficient manner.

It has an earthy, but classy feel to it. Love the crispness of the hamon. Razor looks very functional, I'm sure the new owner will be stoked to have it.

Is this the one that you started forging the tail on at the mini-meet?

This is not the one I started forging at the meet. I did do the heat treat for this at the meet.

That is a beautiful, unique piece. I love the fact that it screams "CHARLIE" all over the place. Love your style.
