Thread: The "Artist" 5/8

Been getting really bored lately since I haven't been able to make some scales so I couldn't finish anything that has been sitting around. Figured I might as well start using up the stack of vintage scales I have lying around. Atleast that way I can reduce the number of razors waiting. This one is a 5/8 The "Artist" Levering Razor Co. Still needs to be honed. I really like the look of the scales on this one. I thought they were cracked ice celluloid or acrylic, but they aren't like any of the others that I have seen. They have a grain pattern to them almost like ivory and are the color of ivory. The pictures are kind of bad. I couldn't capture the grain pattern. If anyone knows the name of the scales please post it.
