Nice razor. I really need to try G10 cause I like the look of those scales.

I love Ramapo blades and I especially like this split spine one. Not too many people
are familiar with Ramapo. They are very much like W&B and Wostenholm. Most I've seen are
wedge type and always enjoyed the shaves. Personally, I think a cool blade like that deserves
special scales .... something with more character than back horn. But That;s just my opinion.
Regardless, you did a good job Joe.

The black g10 is always a good choice in my book. Easy to keep a classy look with modern synthetics. I was just touching up my 7/8 ramapo today trying to figure out what to do for scales..... I think I know now that swaged spine looks way better than mine though! Beautiful razor

Restoring the razor was my pleasure. I know that those who own a Ramapo or have worked on then can attest to the hardness of the steel. This one had a crazy in even grind on the notch and since which I corrected. The pics don't do it justice... It's one of those things you gotta hold in your hand.

    Use it in health nelson!

Huge difference between the before look and the after look.
The G10 scales shape really make that razor stand out.
    Beautiful work.
