    Default 7 and 8 of 14

Another pair finished of two sets in progress, previous thread is http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...-5-6-14-a.html.

This time some thick wedge blades requiring thick spacers. A Cattaraugus to the American Pearl set and a Henckels #60 for the Bone Henckels set. The Henckels is sort of a 'ringer' as it has been in my rotation for several years. A great shaver! Seems I am a bit over half done!

Sharpton, I hate you, I hate you. Those are so G.D. Gorgeous I could turn green with envy. Thankfully I don't have envy - just greed, lust, avarice and many more adjectives to describe my unbridled desire to face you in a loaded boars brush lather-out, winner take all (a lot less messy or fatal as swords or pistols.) Are there such things as Razor Stalkers (need to ask my therapist)?

Can't wait to see the finished project.

Beautiful Tom...really beautiful! Also...what a great idea: same scales different yet similar blades. I'm actually sort of 'stealing' your idea.I've been accumulating and restoring seven 5/8 shoulder-less Sheffield blades that will all go into ivory scales. So far I'm 5 out of 7 done...

    Your an Inspiration for me!

If someone asked me why I liked straight razors and I wasn't inclined to talk....I would just point to the last pic on the right in your set...the two razors side by side. A tool born of utility elevated to art. Wow.
