For those of you that think you recognize the style on this one...maybe this will clear it up...

This guy really needs to find a style of his own. There's a reason he doesn't want his name mentioned.

This may be his way of developing a style. He can do nice work that's for sure. And maybe he already does have his own style :<0) I want to say keep up the good work but I share in the idea it would be better with more of his own creativity in it.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Even if the razor wasn't mine I would still be saying this, but really I don't see much similarity in the three. I have razors from builders all over and I must say some do look the same as each other. I guess I just have a little more respect not to post photos or name drop. BTW I do like those green scales I had those on one of my customs a couple years back. Nice touch

Nothing to do with ego stroking. Marking ones work has been done by all craftsmen through the ages. Not only because they take pride in their work, but also as a sign that you stand by your work and are confident enough in the quality that you publicly declare that you created it.

I sign my work not only because I am proud of it. It's also a bar for quality. Because blades will be identifiable as being made by me, people know that I did my best to make a blade of high quality, and that I am not afraid to have my name linked to it. I make blades because of love for the craft. Lord knows I am not getting rich of it. Yet my love for the craft is not invalidated or lessened by the fact that I makr my blades.

I respect a mans wishes and privacy but that kind of skill needs to be shared with those that appreciate it and without a name to go with the work many of us will never have an opportunity to get something like this in our lives. Is he also from California?
