Thanked: 8Absolutely incredible! This razor has very special meaning for me Glen and the care and detail you put into restoring it to its former glory is a true testament to your skill. I originally purchased this razor from a SRP member but with a third baby on the way it became very clear I could not give this razor the attention it deserved. I am truly grateful for the energy and care you put into this project. Thank you very much.
This is the first piece I have ever had fully restored and the experience was really satisfying. Places like SRP are truly unique in the world of straight razor shaving. As a community we are lucky to have people who are dedicated to growing this skill and encouraging others to participate. Glen is the utmost professional and I can truly see why he is so well respected and sought after for work that is personal and meaningful. If you've got a project that means a lot to you, this craftsman will treat you right. Thanks again Glen. Wonderful work. I am really looking forward to shaving with this razor.

nice pairing of the satin finish with the carbon fiber scales! the last pic showed it well, i love wedges that "pop" like that, nicely done all around. and as to "former glory" i don't think its former dress code came close to EVER looking this good!

I have quite a soft spot for the old beaters that are brought back to a useful and actractive condition.

Thanked: 8Just an update on this razor - its a fantastic shaver with a very slick look. Wife loves the purple spacer as it is he favorit colour. After a month of taking over my rotation I think I can safely say this razor is broken in. Strops very well and rounds the micro contours of my face easily. Glen I say again wonderful work. My four year old thinks the scales are 'sooooo cool', and promptly told his 7 month old brother that its his when i'm dead (kids say the darndest things). So there you have it... another heirloom to pass along but until then it will continue to star in my weekly rituals.
