funky scales in red & black G10, white G10 wedge, brass pins and stacked collars. funky design for a customer, wanted something "unique, short scales" I know its not everyones cup of tea but let me know what you think.

Interesting. Got a pic of it open straight for stropping? How do the scales and tang fit together? Just curious. Looks like you filled the brief nicely.

Walterbowens-feels surprisingly sweet both at the hones and the strop as well as fully opened and held to the face in shaving posture. that's of the utmost importance to me when I design. if it don't feel balanced and strop efficiently I take it apart and scrap that design! as I was doing this one I was extremely skeptical because of the double jog in the scales but if you draw a line down connecting the pins, I tried to keep the mass equal and fairly mirrored on both sides of that line. came out balanced, im happy, customer is happy with pics, sending it out tomorrow for the real test......will they like the shave

fully opened the tang fits inside the matching curve of the scales nicely, see the photos to see the relationship. fully opened the spine and both pins are closely aligned and the mass of the scales is roughly centered on either side of the line so it really feels quite good when stropping, no issues. im thrilled it actually worked out well
