W&B in NOS scales
NOS scales? I mean Not Original Stock. I don't believe for a moment these are original scales. But I don't care as I like the style and single pin.
Now there are other things I SHOULD be doing but this Wedge came in today's mail and I couldn't resist because it's mine. Along with some other goodies. You know how it goes, get to half a puck/bottle/tube of something and panic sets in. The only cure is buy more. The rest, well in doubt just buy it.
So I broke the blade down and cleaned it up. The blade didn't fit the scales well so I fixed that. Used a washerless pin and she was ready to go. Hone it up and I'm good to go. She'll settle in nicely with the rest of my collection of W&Bs.

Who cares if the scales are original, its a W&B, its yours and that is all that counts. Nice Score!

Trimmy72 , here is another set of these scales ( I think I have another) but the W&Bs are more colorful.
The other razor is a Wilbert "Reliable" etch on the blade. Pretty razor too.
Sorry about the pic but for some reason phone shots get rotated.

I love that blade, it's the same one that I used here. I've got another pair of oak that I can use to make matching scales and have a nice pair if I'm lucky enough to find another.
