Early John Barber restore
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me show you, gentlemen, the newest toy in my collection.
Early John Barber, must be some 200 years old.
Width: 5/8, wedge type. Original horn scales and lead spacer.
Freshly restored, still needs to be honed.
A strange feeling when you think a soldier of Duke of Wellington
could have shaved with it on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo

Now that's impressive. Please tell me that you shave with it.

Totally in tune with what you wrote regarding it's period during the Battle of Waterloo...that is one of the most fascinating aspects I find shaving with these razors.
Thanks, fantastic job and elegantly put as to historical context.
