    Default My first restoration.

A friend gave me this blade to restore for him and to hone as well, I have do neither before and its been over a year since I last used a straight.
The blade is a wedge 6/8, Sheffield steel, Bird&Co.

I decided not to take too much steel off the razor so as to keep some of the weight still there, as you can see some pitting still evident, but I kinda like that.
I was happy at how the micarta came out for my first attempt. the copper and perspex was just some stuff I had lying around so I decided to use them as the spacer, saves throwing stuff out lol.
