I love it! Which is a big problem because there is already too many of you custom razor guys from which I want a razor... and I simply don't have the budget, or the Lady's approval, for it. Worse, it gives me ideas to start doing it myself...

    Keep up the good work!

    Cheers.

    Thanks guys

PapaTony, it had two stress reliving cycles then I soaked it at 800 degrees for five mins or so then quenched in oil. I tempered it twice to around 59rc though I haven't tested the hardness.

I really like the shape of the blade.
    Turned out great.
The scales are gorgeous as well.

Don't mean to be a debbie downer or anything, or unless I'm missing something. But 800 degrees wouldn't be nearly hot enough in order to get carbon steel to change it's crystalline structure, unless you meant 1800? What type of steel are you using? I'm just a tad confused, wanted to make sure of the process... would hate for you to try to hone a soft piece of steel...

Edit*.... Silly american here, realized your from the UK... 800 deg C, I'm imagining now, I apologize. But still (and sorry if you said before) what type of steel is it?

Yeah sorry, I should have said centigrade. The steel is AISI O1.
